HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BREEDING LABS?
We produced our first litter in November 2017.
ARE YOUR DOGS AND PUPPIES AKC?
All our dogs are AKC registered. Each litter is registered about a week after its born. Individual registrations are released to families when I receive proof that your puppy has been spayed/neutered.
DO YOU REMOVE DEW CLAWS?
Yes. We realize there is some controversy surrounding this, but we believe it is best to remove the dew claws. This is done 2 days after pups are born.
ARE YOUR PUPPIES VET-CHECKED?
Yes. Our vet comes here to examine the puppies, this is much safer than transporting them to the clinic. Each puppy is thoroughly examined from nose to tail around 7 weeks of age.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR PUPPIES?
Our puppies are priced at $1400, regardless of color or gender. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy/be added to the Wait List.
DO YOU BREED SILVER AND/OR CHARCOAL LABS?
No. We breed the three standard colors as recognized by the AKC - black, chocolate and yellow. Shades of yellow vary greatly, from very light (sometimes called white or cream) to very dark (called fox red).
DO YOUR PUPPIES GET ANY SHOTS?
Yes, they receive a vaccine at 6 1/2- 7 weeks. We administer Duramune Max5 (Canine Distemper-Adenovirus Type 2-Parainfluenza-Parvovirus Vaccine). This first dose doesn't provide any real immunity, but serves as a "wake-up call" to the young immune system, preparing it to accept the next dose 2-3 weeks later. Your puppy will need a total of 4 doses to be fully protected. Some vets recommend a total of 5 doses for maximum protection.
ARE YOUR PUPPIES DEWORMED?
Yes. They are treated with Pyrantel Pamoate at 2 weeks and 4 weeks, then with Fenbendazole for 3 days at 6 weeks and 8 weeks.
DO YOU SHIP PUPPIES TO OTHER STATES?
No. For the safety of our puppies, their families are required to pick them up here in person.
